Progress Goal 2: Lose 34.5lbs 

Progress Goal 1: Lose 30lbs by 6/21/11
Goal Achieved: 4/3/11

There are some topics that I really didn't want to blog about - my weight loss is one of them. But when the words start forming in my head, I know I'm being prodded to write them down. So, with that in mind...

I decided to start my weight loss program on December 28, 2010. With the exception of the first two photos, I promise that I will post an updated photo on the 28th of every month until I reach my goal. It's another way of charting my progress and keeping me honest.

This picture was taken last year during our trip to Yosemite. I weighed about the same then as I did in December when I started my weight loss.

So, I gained 1.5lbs this past week. Oh well, onward and downward. I think I'm getting my waist back.

I'm down to 182lbs. For the record, the shorts are a little bit big. Wearing bigger clothes does not make a person look smaller. :-)

I'm down to 177. I apologize once again for the crappy picture. I did not realize how bright the morning sun could be.

As of this morning, the scale says 168. I think I'll take it. BTW, those are size 12 jeans.

This morning the scale read 169lbs. Oh well, I can still wear my size 12 jeans.

The scale said 165 this morning. Any progress, no matter how small is still progress, right? Although I think I look thinner in the size 12 skinny jeans, those are size 10 shorts...with 3% Spandex. I highly doubt I'm a size 10. Maybe in another 10 - 12 lbs.

The scale said 161.5 this morning. Like I said, even small progress is still progress, right? I'm wearing my latest Goodwill find - size 10 jeans!

The scale said 155.5 this morning. Woo hoo!! That means only 10lbs to go until I reach my goal. BTW: I'm wearing size 8 Gap jeans...from the Goodwill of course!

First of all, sorry for the crappy lighting - the sun hasn't come up yet. The scale said 153 this morning. So, it was a slow month for weight loss, but dare I say, I built up some muscle in my arms. Now I need to work on the midsection. I'm still wearing my size 8 Gap jeans, but I'll have you know that I'm now wearing Medium shirts. Woo hoo! Onward and downward.

Well, I gained 1.5lbs this month. Actually, I've been fluctuating between the 153-154 range all month, so I guess I've hit a plateau. Oh well, I can still wear size 8 jeans and a size M shirt. Just for fun and just because it's freezing outside, I thought I'd wear a tank top and show off my arms. Onward and downward.

Yes, I put on some extra holiday pounds. The scale said 157 this morning. My size 8 jeans still fit, but they're a little snug around the middle. The good news? I'm wearing a size S T-shirt. Woo hoo! Now, it's time to work on losing those holiday pounds.
